**DB2 PROGRAMMER WITH .NET EXPERIENCE. THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE BOTH SKILLS**
The most important skill for this candidate to have is extensive DB2 Mainframe experience as all their data is stored on the Mainframe.
This candidate will be working on Regulatory Reporting systems and will be making enhancements and doing new development. Former experience with Regulatory or Financial applications would be a plus.
'This person has a minimum of 7 yrs experience and has in depth knowledge of software engineering utilizing Web based or Object Oriented Technologies including .NET. Candidate needs to know ASP.NET and we use VB.NET as the language. Regulatory/Brokerage or Financial background is also required.
Working with other team members from the beginning of the product cycle through release, Software Engineers design and implement sophisticated products using the latest and most advanced engineering technologies in the industry.
Responsibilities include designing, developing and implementing software solutions, leading complex projects of major significance, reviewing and recommending products from multiple CONSULTANTS as necessary, developing technical specifications and acting as a technical lead in the software development process.
Individuals will also provide guidance to and review the work of other team members as well as investigating ways to potentially improve processes existing today and implement improvements. Successful candidate must have previous experience on working on distributed/mainframe systems with emphasis on dynamic SQL calls to mainframe DB2 databases. This group's applications are GUI based with a DB2 back-end.
