ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Overall responsibility for bakery operations in all locations.
• Oversee and direct the Mt Airy site through the bakery manager, manage the Woodbridge site through the Production and Maintenance Managers.
• Implement the operations piece of the strategic plan as approved by the company.
• Train and develop the team to maximize profitability and on-time delivery of high quality products to the customers.
• Overall administrative responsibility for the bakery(such as performance to budget, labor cost / case, material cost / case, performance reviews, downtime tracking, disciplinary actions, etc.).
• Accountable for efficiency of plants, product quality and sanitation.
• Reviews production/operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Develops, recommends and implements changes in working conditions to improve employee performance and product quality.
• Resolves worker grievances or in conjunction with HR.
• Develops capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, cycle times and summit to the CFO / CEO.
• Participates as an active member of the company management team.
• Submits on a weekly basis a flash report to the CEO detailing top line achievements and opportunities.
• Other duties may be assigned.

This project requires the high level assessment of information technology systems (applications, operations, telecommunications, etc.) currently in use at both organizations and recommending an integration plan to merge common systems and eliminate duplication or inefficiencies. This will cover various financial, commercial (marketing, sales, etc.), regulatory and HR systems. We are not looking for technical expertise in any one particular area â€" we are looking for someone who has performed such integration plans within the pharmaceutical industry. We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team in our Purchase,
New York headquarters. Responsibilities of this position include:

- Conducting business analysis requirements sessions with business
clients as well as develop business and technical design specs and project
plans
- Managing projects and performing development encompassing all stages of
the project life cycle inclusive of: scope, assessment, analysis,
development and implementation
- Analyzing and documenting problems, recommending solutions, and
initiating corrective action
- Testing and communicating system updates on assigned applications
- Designing and coding custom applications and ETL integration systems
- Support third party and in-house applications and manage daily
production processes to support business needs
- Writing procedures and policies, and record system changes for
troubleshooting and auditing
- Performing additional duties as required

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems or related field and be results driven, customer focused
and self-motivated. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a
must, as well as strong project management skills. Candidates must have 3-5
years web applications and database development experience and be able to
demonstrate extensive hands on experience developing applications using: .NET
(C#, ASP), XML, SQL Server, ETL Data Integration & Interface processes, BI
Reporting and Data Warehousing Tools. Proficiency in MS Office Suite a must
with a good understanding of Windows Server environments, software
installation and LAN/WAN network protocols and troubleshooting. Business
knowledge or background in banking and credit unions a plus.

Job Description:

This position is project management related. It requires strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage resources both on the customer side and internally to deliver project deliverables timely and with high level of quality. It requires an individual with strong operational background in sea and air logistics processes. While this is not an IT job, good understanding and comfort level with IT systems is required.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer needs and synthesize into logical mapping and technical specification documents.
• Provide Project Management for multiple EDI implementation projects for sea, air and customs brokerage divisions.
• Analyze project needs related to customer’s requirements and in relation to operational commitment and capabilities.
• Manage the project plan timelines.
• Facilitate cross-functional requirements gathering and analysis sessions and document project specifications (between NYC core team, Customer solutions staff and international team).
• Work closely with EDI programming team to coordinate project task scoping, estimation, planning, and monitoring activities.
• Train internal and external customers as needed on the implemented solution and provide assistance in using Login to create automated alerts to ensure operational success of the project.
• Proactively communicate with account owner (sales), accounts receivable, and/or core team to identify and resolve problems.
• Coordinate and ensure system and Login setup to support EDI requirements before programming is started.
• Plan, coordinate and execute testing of the programmed EDI before turning over to customer as well as manage the testing with the customer.
• Manage hand-over to production and follow on the project until steady state.
• Support integrated customers as needed.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in logistics or equivalent and/or solid operational and technical background.

Skills/Experience:
• Minimum 2 years forwarding and/or steamship experience
• Solid sea or air operational experience (both is preferred but not mandatory)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• EDI Process mapping and analysis
• Familiar with quality processes
• Detail-oriented
• Team player
