My name is Kyle Starke and I represent Open Systems Technologies. We are a national recruiting firm and are currently seeking experienced State Tax Accountant for a prominent client of ours. This is a Newark, NJ position. Details for the positions are as follows;
Description:
The position will be focused primarily on state tax matters as follows:
·         Coordinate the accurate and timely preparation of federal, state and local tax returns and calculate tax liabilities and payments, including allocations among Enterprise's subsidiaries.
·         Research tax Issues through analysis of tax law, regulations and court decisions.
·         Research financial and regulatory requirements for taxes.
·         Record financial and regulatory Impacts of tax liabilities. Proactively pursue opportunities for tax savings Ideas and Initiatives.
·         Respond to requests and substantiate PSEG's position during tax audits by taxing authorities and regulators.
·         Research tax effects of contracts, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, FASB standards, legislation and regulations.
·         Modify tax systems, programs and reports to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
