Jr. Research Analyst role
The firm is looking to hire a junior analyst to work closely with the investment team in diligencing industries, markets, and companies. Responsibilities of the position would include doing primary research, reading public filings, creating financial models and excel analyses, and talking with industry and company contacts. The work product of the junior analyst would support investment decision making in the portfolio. Review and understand data requirements for data warehousing projects, Business Intelligence (BI)/Business Objects (BO) Reporting Systems and perform data analysis and data administration activities such as creation of data dictionaries, data transformations, assess data quality and recommend data quality improvements. those results.
- Participates in on-call, overnight off-hour production problem

- Develops and maintains DBMS related standards and procedures, knows

and facilities as they pertain to the existing DBMS environment, database
designs, procedures, and applications.
- Monitors current DBMS performance and develops procedures, where

*Experience*

- 10 to 12 years of experience, at least last 5-7 years as Lead SQL
Server DBA on all aspects of SQL Server Database Administration in a
large/challenging database environment.
- Experience setting up and configuring database encryption for SQL
Server applications.
- Hands on experience migrating SQL Server database applications from
2005 to 2008.
- Expert in SQL analysis and tuning SQL queries as well as database for
optimizing performance.
- Expertise in database backup and recovery and hands on experience
setting up enterprise wide strategy for backups.
- Experience setting up enterprise wide monitoring and alerting system
and strategy for SQL Server databases.
- Basic understanding of Connection pooling and .net architecture.
- Experience working on SharePoint, BizTalk, SSRS applications is a Big
