Location: Greenwich, CT
Job Purpose:
Hands on system administrator and infrastructure manager for a growing Telehealth organization. Candidate must have experience with scaling and growing web and data infrastructures. Candidate will configure, optimize and troubleshoot multiple Linux services and internet appliances, running many internal and external applications and services. Candidate must be an excellent at diagnosing issues and eager to research and understand both new and existing systems and issues. Responsible for overseeing and managing a team of 2-5 direct reports.
Qualifications:
5+ years of Linux administration
Experience building new scalable infrastructures within datacenters
Skill in supporting development environments
Expertise configuring and implementing services including:
Apache, includind SSL layers
Iptables/Firewall appliances
DNS severs using Bind
SMTP/Relay MTA using postfix
Automated backup systems
Dhcpd
Crontab
SNMP
Amazon Web Services
Load Balancing solutions
Bug tracking and version control software
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, fault tolerance, redundancy and security
Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences
Comfortable contributing and debating in a friendly team environment
Additional Desired Skillsets:
Experience supporting Ruby on Rails applications

· Develop and maintain robust and efficient distributed computing components(in C++ and Python) to deliver pricing and risk modeling services in both soft real-time and overnight batch processing environments.
· Develop and maintain pricing and risk analytics module inside the brokerage firm's main client trading application (in Java).
Requirements:
The candidate should be capable of making sound software design given a project spec, and implementing with production quality.
Specific qualifications:
· Professional experience in C++ or Java. Proficient in Object-Oriented design and design patterns.
