· Lead a team of five to ten people to develop trading system applications. Candidate should be hands-on team lead with expert level knowledge in Core JAVA, spring & Hibernate. 
· Collaborate with Muni Users for requirement, business discussion, design review and UAT testing. 
· Follow the standard SDLC process for project delivery. 
· Understand and enhance various trading system components. 
· Optimize and tune existing modules for better performance. 
· Contribute towards design and solutions with broader application. 
· Collaborate with other technology teams –internal and external, and work closely with extended QA teams in a different time zone 

Candidate must have good written and communication skills to interact with front office users. 

Qualifications 
The right candidate should have twelve to fifteen years of total experience developing applications in Java, J2EE, spring, Hibernate, XML, Tibco, and Sybase etc. 
The right candidate must have successful track record of leading a team of five to ten IT professionals for three to five years.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
 
Applicant will be looked upon as a subject matter expert in the T/R Module and MMIC design domain for military electronics applications. Specific roles will include lead design responsibility on numerous new product development efforts and future business pursuits.

Applicant will be expected to have in-depth knowledge of both GaAs and GaN MMIC technology and be able to apply it to achieve state of the art performance for Radar applications.

Applicant will be required to provide technical oversight on T/R Module programs in all life cycle stages ranging from initial concept development to the support of full-rate production.

Applicant will be expected to drive long-term technology roadmapping and help to develop investment plans in order to align development funding with long-range business goals

Applicant must understand and be able to apply MS2 design processes to their work and recommend opportunities for process improvements.

Background & Experience Needed: 
 
Minimum 12 years experience and proven superior performance in specification, design and testing of T/R Modules and Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMICs).
 
Ability to use simulation tools such as ADS, Microwave Office, SysCalc and Sonnet, and design into multiple foundries/processes .
 
Experience supporting suppliers on new technology developments related to circuits and systems for radar applications
 
Experience with design and layout in a variety of MMIC substrate materials including GaAs, GaN and organic and ceramic Module materials.
 
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
 
Proven ability to effectively prepare and present program status to senior technical, financial management personnel and the customer.
 
Ability to plan, budget and manage T/R Module and MMIC development efforts including support of new business proposals, developing schedules and budget, tracking progress and identifying personnel and equipment needs.
Candidate must also be capable of presenting highly technical information to customer communities in a clear, concise format that can be easily understood even by those without expertise in the T/R Module and MMIC domain.
 
Ability to mentor junior design engineers in design techniques and best practices in order to develop their skills in designing T/R Modules and MMICs.

A thorough understanding of phased array antennas.
 
Education & Training Required: 
 
BSEE/MSEE; PhD Preferred
Proficient in the use of T/R Module and MMIC Design Tools, EM Simulation (ADS, HFSS Microwave Office, and Sonnet) and Project Leadership Tools

Security Clearance:
 
Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Secret Clearance is required
 
General Requirements:
 
Should have experience designing Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMICs) in GaAs and GaN technologies.  Someone who has experience designing components of Radar and EW systems, like Power Amplifiers, Low Noise Amplifiers, Phase Shifters, Switches, and Attenuators.   Wireless or cell phone applications are not the skill sets needed.   Designing MMICs in applications is needed.

Responsible for the technical development and performance verification of a wide variety of semiconductor products for military applications in Radar, EW, SigInt, and Communications. Responsible for Requirements Development and Flow Down, Architectural Design, oversight of a design team, customer interfaces, design integrity and process adherence, fabrication, and test.

Simultaneously direct multiple design efforts and teams. Provide technical and programmatic direction to design teams.

Provide detailed technical direction and recommendations to external foundries and design houses for process improvements and design problem resolution.

Develop technical roadmaps, strategies, and insertion opportunities for Mixed Signal designs.

Customer interfacing including DOD customers and DOD laboratories, other business areas, and commercial customers.

Organic growth of mixed signal design skills within the organization.

Proposal development for stand alone products and for support to larger systems.

Background & Experience Needed: 
 
A minimum of twelve (12) years experience and proven superior performance in identifying and deriving system solutions as applied to advanced semiconductor technologies and the implementation of those solutions in Mixed Signal High Frequency Silicon, GaAs and GaN designs.

Design of Analog, Mixed-Signal, Power Management, and RF Integrated Circuits for applications such as communications, EW (Electronic Warfare), SigInt, and radar. Experience in a wide range of advanced technologies including SiGe, RFCMOS, GaAs and GaN processes.

Specifically capable of leading a team of design engineers in the architecture development, requirements allocation and flow down, design, fabrication, and test of High Frequency Semiconductor devices.

Experience in Military communications, radar, and EW is strongly desired.
Experience in RF/microwave testing, data reduction, and familiarity with microwave manufacturing processes is also strongly desired.

Must be capable of top level architecture design including participation with radar (X-Band / S-Band) system and subsystem engineers in developing B-level specifications. Must have analytical skills in the analysis of product performance and error budgets.

Design of RF Analog subsystems and components such as receivers, exciters, A/D converters, and digital interfaces to these products.

Education & Training Required: 
 
BSEE/MSEE; PhD Preferred

Looking for a senior person who has extensive experience in the design of SiGe mixed signal Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFICs).   This person will serve as a system-level architect who is able to understand the capabilities and limitations of this technology and to guide the optimal implementation of it into a variety of Radar, EW and communication systems.   Someone who not only knows how to design RFICs but also someone who understands how they fit into the big picture and can help guide the development of systems around them.   System-level experience would be relevant here.
