DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE BUSINESS SOME PARTS OF THE BUILDING ARE SMOKE FRIENDLY
The person we seek to hire will perform the following functions:
Performs tasks necessary to maintain 100% uptime for all systems
Assists with maintaining 100% uptime for network-related hardware and software for all company data; ensures PC connectivity to the network
Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems, as well as, out of the box installs and reinstalls
Assists with maintaining 100% uptime for the network backbone, ensuring continuous operation of the company, by updating patches and monitoring as needed
Support users with Internet connectivity issues
Maintains Point of Sale system for all NC locations which include Selma and Statesville.
Assists with monitoring software to ensure all company software is up to date and operating correctly
Contributes to knowledge base by documenting departmental activities thoroughly
The following qualifications are needed:
Three or more years of experience in operating systems (Win2000, WinXP) and LAN administration
AS400 knowledge
Strong knowledge and experience with PC hardware and software technology as well as Windows Server 2003 administration, electronic mail, security, and virus protection
Must be able to operate all equipment required for computer operations
Working knowledge of Microsoft Products
Possess a working knowledge of network and data communications
