Subject: NYExUG - July Meeting Announcement - Exchange Myths Debunked

Hello All,

Sorry for the very late notice. Tomorrow's meeting is Exchange Myths Debunked (reality check). If you can RSVP asap, that would be great. BUT.... breaking from the past, I'm going to include RSVP names from last month's attendance in case you don't RSVP in time.

Per August's meeting... I've done waiting for Microsoft. So, I'm going to run the demo and meeting on Exchange 2010's Online Archive Feature. I'll send out the RSVP details about August's meeting later today or tomorrow.

Stating my life is busy isn't justice. I don't know how "sysadmins" manage with 3+ kids. 2 is the limit for man on man defense. I guess you run zone. Once the 9-5 day ends... my computing life is becoming an endangered species.

This Month's Meeting Topic
Exchange Myths Debunked (reality check). This will cover Exchange 2003, 2007, and 2010. Marketing people should not attend, since this will be brutal.

Speaker

Ben Serebin of REEF Solutions, Founder and President of NY Exchange User Group

RSVP deadline by Mon 6/7 5:45pm EST (free - includes pizza dinner & raffles)

Meeting Date/Time

Tue, 7/13. Doors open at 6pm. Meeting location details below.

Question of the Month

Q) Does Exchange 2010's DAG support encryption? If so, what types?

Answer to previous Question of the Month:

Q) How many methods of disk virtualization are supported for Exchange?

3. 1) Fixed/Thick disk, 2) SCSI pass-through storage, and 3) iSCSI storage targets.

Bonus Question: Which versions support which method?

Exchange 2003 SP2, Exchange 2007 SP1, and Exchange 2010 support all 3.
