Our client, a leading developer of Data Center and Applications Management software, is currently seeking several Deployment Architects for the Northeast US.
Deployment Architect function as the point of contact with prospects and current customers, and are responsible for both product deployment, as well as ongoing account management and pre-sales support functions.
This position is available in our client’s New York City and Boston area offices. Travel requirements are 25% for NYC position, 40-50% for Boston position.

This is a classic “Tweener” job, and is ideal for technically-versatile candidates who are ambitious, curious and desire to be part of a growing company. Breadth is just as important as Depth in this position. There will be opportunities for growth and training, and our client prides itself on its environment that rewards employees for initiative and creativity.

Responsibilities:
The Deployment Architect will be responsible for several points of contact with Customers and Prospects, and will function in Deployment, Sales Support, Product Support, Project Management and Account Management capacities.

The Deployment Architect will work with customers on problem discovery and resolution, Solutions Design, Legacy Systems integration, Project planning and Product Delivery.

Implements the firm’s product suite at the client’s site.

Analyzing and understanding the client’s business challenges as well as technical environment to map and implement the application in the most efficient manner.

Interact with various departments within the organization including but not limited to R&D, QA, Product Management, sales.

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:

Bachelor's degree helpful. Equivalent hands-on experience in various technical domain acceptable.
This role calls for a good technology generalist. The role requires the ability to work across a variety of different platforms and in collaboration with different products and systems.

5-7+ years of extensive Technical IT background, preferably in a diverse set of functions, i.e. support, development, QA, etc

Technical experience with the following is highly desired: Linux/Unix, Windows VMWare, Database knowledge, basic programming skills.

Qualifications:
