Flash Developer

Our digital media agency client has an immediate 3 month contract assignment for
a brilliant Flash Designer/Developer. Experience in motion graphics and an
understanding of digital advertising is a must and you should have excellent
skills in Flash, After Effects / Photoshop / Illustrator.

You will be working on projects, from websites through to online games, from
back-end applications through to complex flash animations, your skills in
ActionScript (AS2) and OOP must be exceptional.

The ideal candidate for this role will have
• An interest in motion-graphics trends and post-production techniques
• Knowledge of rich media formats, animation and ActionScript, XML integration
and web page layout
• Strong animation skills in both code driven and timeline-based motion
animation.
• An ability to bring an idea to life and give each project something a little
special
• Excellent FLASH + Actionscript (AS2) 1/2/3 + OOPs
• Large project experience within a digital agency

The Planner and Materials Manager will be responsible for managing the
procurement, planning, inventory control and manufacturing requirements and
work closely with marketing, customer service and suppliers to analyze
materials consumption, set stocking levels, ROP's in support of the
production plan and inventory targets.

Essential Functions:
Manage a team of planners and buyers.
Responsible for the execution of MRP to ensure appropriate stocking levels
are achieved.
Responsible for all master data within MRP, inventory and purchasing
systems. Responsible for new material and new product introductions.
Maintain ownership of the product bills of materials (BOM).
Work with Distribution to monitor usage rates and quality issues, as well as
manage, analyze and adjust safety stock levels as needed to optimize
material flow.
Work with Logistics Director to determine appropriate inventory levels,
taking into account cost, storage, vendor quality, usage rate, and lead-time
considerations.
Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, support
manufacturing operations, and negotiate contracts and supply agreements for
assigned commodities and services in collaboration with other functional
business departments.
Ensure suppliers meet quality requirements and applicable regulatory
requirements by initiating appropriate action when supplier quality or
compliance deficiencies are identified.
Continuously improve the performance of the materials supply base by
supporting the use of supplier management tools such as the supplier report
card and commercial meetings.
Forecast supply vulnerabilities and implement plans to insure continuity of
supply.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in a business, technical, or related area is required
Master's degree in business or business related field is preferred
10+ years management or supervisory experience in materials management,
manufacturing, supply chain management or relevant technical/analytical
discipline
CPM designation desired

Our Project Managers and business analysts are an integral part of our Development team.  They provide a critical link between our business users and the developers.  We are looking for bright individuals capable of quick immersion in the specifics of our domain.  The individual will need to make a quick impact, help mature our requirements gathering process and take on the longer-term responsibility of testing, all in partnership with the user community.  The candidate should have the ability to lead a small team of Business analysts.   
The ideal candidate will have experience with requirements management and software development methodology and have worked extensively with business users, programmers, and QA.  This individual will have a strong background in business analysis and possess a high level of comfort with technology.

Position Requirements
