Patient Access Staff Coordinator

MAIN FUNCTIONS:
§  Ensures adequate staffing levels for all Patient Access tasks;
§  Performs scheduled QA analysis and identifies opportunities for performance improvement;
§  Develops training tools and provides continuous training for Patient Access staff for procedures designed to ensure efficient operational performance.
§  Maintains and reviews audit systems to ensure accurate and complete data collection and verification to reduce denials by payers associated with precertification, authorization, and medical necessity and registration errors.
§  Interviews, evaluates and counsels Patient Access staff to access competency and/or need for additional training.   Makes recommendations to Director for disciplinary action or recognition for excellence
 

Experience:
4 years experience in a Healthcare-related field with either
2 years Patient Access experience
and/or 3 years Finance experience
Supervisory experience required.
Education:
BA in Business Administration or related field required.
 
Current Patient Access (CHAM or CHAA) certification preferred.

IT PMO - Senior Project Manager

Introduction and Purpose

Client is seeking experienced Program / Project management resources for the Project 360 initiative IT Program Management Office (PMO). Project 360 is a large client Business 2011 program focused on a re-engineering of the enterprise operating model with a full view of the customer experience. Project 360 objectives include enabling real-time business intelligence, improving our time to market, reducing sales cycle time, enhancing the customer experience, improving operational efficiency, and creating greater capital efficiency. The Senior Porject Manager will partner with Client'sProject 360 IT PMO Director to support execution of the Project 360 program and help achieve successful business outcomes from the Project 360 initiatives.

Assignment Role and Functions
• Helping to manage the overall program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives.
• Directs and coordinates activities associated with implementation and carrying out objectives of program
• Confers with staff to explain program and individual responsibilities for functions and phases of program
• Reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives; recommends and drives changes as required.
• Integrates project plans into Program Plans.
• Help establish roles and responsibilities within the core program team.
• Direct, Hands-on Management and Support of Project 360 IT Programs and Projects across all phases of IT SDLC including requirements, design, build, test, and implementation
• Alignment of project objectives, deliverables, and schedules across impacted IT organizations
• Lead and contribute to executive program status communications, i.e. support of CIO status reviews, executive stakeholder reviews, etc. as required.
• Issue and Risk Management – driving complex issues to resolution
• Assisting Client IT with Project 360 project plan development
• Identification of critical path elements and project acceleration opportunities
• Driving milestones to completion
• Raising attention and urgency
• Leading and/or Contributing to Program Management Office administrative functions such as:
o Project status tracking and reporting
o Facilitating recurring program meetings and other written and oral program communications
o Program financials management
