*Project Management
*Job Number: SDM1

Description
SDM is a pivotal role in a "matrixed" delivery model and requires the desire
to work in, and track record of success in, dynamic technology and business
environments. SDMs act as internal advocates for client requirements and
provide the "face" of CIBER while closely working with CIBER technology
leaders who are accountable to SDM for delivery.

Individual will be joining an expanding team of SDMs reporting to the
Director of Service Delivery and will interface with major client's senior
technical management.

Responsibilities
SDM specific responsibilities and roles will vary based on client(s) culture
and contract scope, however all SDMs will have complete life cycle ownership
for client delivery. End to end ownership and accountability. SDMs' key
internal relationships are with CIBER Technical Practice Leads (PLs).
Clients expect the SDM to be their advocate; PLs are accountable to the SDM
for delivery of defined services.

Some clients generate many small to midsized incremental projects which the
SDM will define and manage, others have a great deal of contract driven
activity (OS or ERP patches, custom code change management, etc.). In
either case the SDM provides the "glue" which assures successful execution,
communication, and risk management.

Service Delivery Managers are an extension of CIBER management, how CIBER is

Practice
f) Develop/maintain/optimize client facing reports as needed

2) Oversight for delivery of contract and non contract services
a) Internal status reporting and coordination for on-going contract
driven projects
b) Project management of incremental projects (defined by SDM in
conjunction w/PLs)
c) Monthly/weekly review of hours by activity and project
d) Assure accurate time reporting and definition of activities (with
PLs)

3) Project/process definition for contract commitments and incremental
non-contract projects
a) Maintenance of "run book" in conjunction with TechOps and PLs
b) Initial discovery and scope definition - gather requirements
c) Coordination and management of client and CIBER technical resources
for discovery
d) Formal SOW (scope of work) generation (in conjunction with PLs)
e) Internal definition and optimization of operational processes in
conjunction with PLs

CIBER is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. We welcome and
encourage diversity in our workforce.
· AS degree (BS preferred) in Management of Information Science,
