*Women's SIG (WNJW) - May 17, 2010*

The Wharton Club of NJ will be meeting on Monday, May 17th in Roseland at
7:00 PM. Our special guest speaker is Sally Glick, partner at Sobel & Co.,
and professional accounting marketing strategist. Sally is active in various
women's organizations across the state, including Commerce and Industry
Association of NJ, Governor's Conference, and North Essex Chamber of
Commerce. Sally has been named Accounting Marketer of the Year, a Woman of
Influence in New Jersey and was recently selected by NJBIZ as one of their
Top 50 Women in Business. In 2010, Sally was selected by Garden State Woman
Magazine as the Woman of the Year in the Professional Services category. You
will greatly enjoy meeting Sally and she will be discussing Women's
Leadership Qualities.

WNJW meets monthly to discuss topics of interest to the group. It is open to
members and potential members of the club. There is no fee to attend and
dinner will be available for a small fee.

Location will be emailed to you after you have registered and eligibility is
determined (must be a Wharton or UPenn student or alum).

And now for something completely different! Past WCNJ speakers have always
focused on business-related subject matter; not this time! Please join the
Wharton Club of New Jersey on Wednesday June 9th at the Richfield Regency in
Verona for what promises to be a unique and thought-provoking presentation
concerning hope and academic success in the midst of poverty, crime and
urban decay.

*We're so convinced that this is a must-attend event for Club members and
their invited guests that the Club has enrolled sponsors for this event to
make the cost of attending next to free. And we'll provide you with a
money-back guarantee! See below in Pricing.

Our featured speakers - Eric Adler and Glen Lewy - are from the SEED
Foundation, a Washington, DC based non-profit group that establishes and
operates college prep boarding schools for economically underserved and
disadvantaged youths in inner-city neighborhoods.

SEED's model has proven highly successful: 97 percent of SEED graduates
have been accepted to college and 90 percent have immediately enrolled in
college at schools like Penn, Princeton, Georgetown, and Brown. And this
level of accomplishment is realized despite the fact that, on average,
students enter the school two to three grade levels behind. . SEED's model
integrates a rigorous academic program with a nurturing boarding program,
which teaches life skills and provides a safe and secure environment. This
boarding school model provides a comprehensive solution to the challenges
facing urban students and serves as a prototype for expansion nationwide.

SEED schools are a product of public-private partnerships. The Foundation
secures private money to build each school and the government provides
normal operating costs. In the case of the Washington school, where the
annual cost per student is roughly $35,000 (about three times the average in
the D.C. system), the school makes up the difference through private
contributions as well as supplemental public funding available to a public
boarding school.

In 2008, SEED opened a second school located in Baltimore.Building on the
success of its first two schools, the SEED Foundation is now focusing on
building urban public boarding schools in additional underserved communities
throughout the country. SEED has done preliminary work with leaders in New
Jersey toward establishing a new school in our state.

This event presents an opportunity for you to hear the story of an
organization that has had a direct and positive impact on the lives and
aspirations of hundreds of disadvantaged youths and thereby has given them,
their communities, and our nation a brighter future.
