Title: SAP APO Functional Consultant

Location: Totowa, NJ

Duration: 5 weeks

Rate: $90-110/hr Corp-to-corp

We are seeking an experienced SAP APO Consultant to assist in implementing
Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) module of SAP APO system.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible to design and
configure the APO system for production and procurement planning and
detailed scheduling of resources such as equipment and labor. Other
responsibilities include design of planning relevant data transfer between
SAP ECC and SAP APO using Core Interface (CIF) and design of master recipe
management in SAP ECC for the selection of alternative resources in process
orders and Process Instruction (PI) sheets.

Scope of the project includes replacing the current MRP functionality of SAP
ECC system with constraint based production planning and detailed scheduling
of SAP APO system.

Qualifications:

. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on design and configuration
experience in at least two cycle implementations of SAP APO

Description:

Development of strategies to drive organic and inorganic revenue growth for
the Company, through the optimization of the company's sales performance.
Working closely with the VP of Sales, VP of Supply Chain, and SVPs, this
position will analyze current sales, marketing, supply chain, and pricing
structure and processes, and recommend improvements to increase market share
and accelerate revenues. Additional responsibilities include, but not
limited to:

* Design and recommend both short and long term revenue and profit
growth strategies and methods to implement these strategies.

* Gather information from various corporate and field stakeholders
to understand the integration of sales, marketing, supply chain, technology
processes and programs, and how they operate together to drive
organizational revenue performance.

* Assist corporate sales and field organization in recommending
strategies to improve revenue performance of underperforming trade areas,
branches, and Regions; provide expertise and recommend turnaround and
performance improvement strategies as necessary.

* Research and provide best practice methodology to drive
incremental revenue and sales performance in a cost-sensitive economic
environment, and methodology to integrate sales and operational processes to
improve organizational performance.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in business, organizational development, or
industrial engineering, or related discipline required

* MBA preferred

* 7 years of successful sales and organizational performance
improvement experience, with a focus on organizational sales improvement
strategies and implementation; experience in a large decentralized company
and sales organization preferred.

* Consulting experience, advising large decentralized field
retail-based organizations.

Recommend and facilitate the implementation of practices and process
improvements which transform the company into a more efficient, customer
focused and cost effective organization. The incumbent guides business unit
leaders in their understanding and use of quality improvement strategies
such as Lean Six Sigma for achieving sustainable operational, sales and
service excellence. Position responsibilities include, but not limited to:

* Recommends specific practices necessary to achieve strategic
business objectives.
* Develops change management strategy for sales and operational
processes and systems which support profitable revenue growth and cost
control
* Identify areas for systematic operational improvements in the field,
which may include logistics, delivery, ready for rent procedures and other
branch related efficiencies.
* Develop strategies, performance goals and scalable solutions for
areas targeted for improvement, and develop and implement methods to measure
goals and solutions;
* Optimize alignment for efficiency to free up cash and eliminate
waste and non-value added activities.
* Determine scope and resources for multiple projects.
* Determine metrics to measure value add of initiatives and quantify
cost savings
* Leverage best practices and develop consistent use of methodology
and tools.
* Lead project teams for selected sales and operational process
improvements;

Key team member on Branch Cost Initiative Optimization initiatives

Requirements:

* Degree in business, finance, industrial engineering, or related
discipline required. (MBA preferred)

* Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification or equivalent work
experience with Lean principles.

* Ten + years of sales and operational consulting experience,
advising large decentralized field retail-based organizations.

* Demonstrated success applying Six Sigma or other quality
improvement methodologies that have resulted in favorable business outcomes;
Field sales and operational management leadership experience a plus
