Looking for a fairly seasoned Project Manager that is super organized, super detailed and a very good communicator.
Any experience with Media or websites is a plus. We are looking for a PM from the application development or the infrastructure perspective.      
The candidate will be providing technical project management for the companies Internet Infrastructure and Database Engineering team. Responsibilities will include:
 
•        Planning, scheduling, managing and tracking discrete but overlapping projects that may range from hardware and software upgrades to application implementations or web site launches

Primary Job Duties

•               Assist in cross team testing for new implementations.

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Logistics, or related discipline is required.  MS preferred.  Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of Information Technology experience in implementing systems involving design, development, configuration and deployment of applications within a large IT organization preferably in Pharmaceutical manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain systems.  Experience with global systems a plus.

Candidate should have experience in configuration, deployment and support of Commercial Off-the-Shelf Transportation Planning systems with JDA/Manugistics Transportation Suite experience strongly preferred.  Knowledge of Warehouse and Order Management system flow a plus.

 Knowledge of UNIX scripting; debugging tools; Oracle database triggers, procedures and queries; Toad software required.  Basic knowledge of Perl, C++, JAVA debugging required.  Basic knowledge of Transportation-related EDI transactions a plus.

Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite required.

 Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, configuration management, and software development methodologies (preferably Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) / Solution Life Cycle (SLC)) is desired.

Full life cycle software design and implementation experience is required.  Experience with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and validated systems a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.  Candidate will be expected to work independently with a wide variety of global teams and software vendors.  Successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to communicate, understand, and translate business requirements into information technology requirements and deliverables.  Demonstrated ability to develop and adhere to project plans required.  Ability to conduct thorough testing with rigorous documentation standards required.

Overview:
• The Program Level Defect Manager’s (PDM) role is to manage the identification, tracking, reporting, and resolution management of defects across programs which they are assigned. This will require the PDM to have a strong working knowledge of the project lifecycle, testing lifecycle, good working knowledge of HP Quality Center, and strong skills with MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Word.
• All projects use Quality Center for management of the testing lifecycle and defect management.
• The PDM will have a matrix reporting line to the Enterprise Testing Metrics, Reporting, and Defect Management Program Manager and the Testing Delivery Manager assigned to the Program which the PDM supports.
• Defect management of as a function is managed at a process level by the ETCCM and Project teams support the DRB process as a core testing processes.
• The PDM is a program and project liaison and process mentor of the Defect management process and test metrics reporting process to the project teams.

Required Skills / Experience:
• Minimum of 6+ years Project / Defect Management experience.
• Strong Project and Testing Life Cycle Management Skill set.
• Good Working knowledge of HP Quality Center.
• Strong Skills with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
• Strong Meeting Facilitation and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
