Major firm in Wayne, New Jersey is seeking a Project Manager for a long term
contract to hire position. The ideal candidate should possess six to eight
years of Project Management experience.

or proprietary software

Intermediate skills handling complex projects and executing those projects
using project management phases

Advanced knowledge of MS Project for developing and maintaining project
schedules

Business analysis skills using various IT systems

Familiar with standard IT concepts, practices, and procedures

This position pays $70.00 per hour on a w-2 hourly basis.

I'm doing a search for a client, a US headquartered global consulting firm
with more than 100000 people on staff worldwide, that is trying to hire
several Sharepoint or Moss architects for full time positions on staff in
several locations in the US plus two more who would initially do about 60%
travel.

This is a summary of what they are looking for and what you will be doing:

Locations: Chicago, St. Paul, MN, and Bridgewater, NJ

Prefer local but will do fly in/fly out

Work as a SharePoint Solution Architect as part of the SharePoint practice.
He or She will perform architecture, design, design authority and consulting
roles across the firm's customers

Key Accountabilities:

. Responsible for defining solution architecture leveraging SharePoint's
capabilities for implementing various solutions around Portals,
collaboration, content management, document management, workflows, search,
forms etc

. Responsible for defining high level and detailed design for applications
and solutions based on SharePoint. Provide design approach and POCs to
support application developers on realization of SharePoint design

. Responsible for defining design, coding and deployment guidelines around
SharePoint, and perform design, and code reviews of applications developed
on for various projects

. Act as SharePoint consultant to help translate key business requirements
to specifications and solution utilizing SharePoint

. Perform infrastructure sizing and capacity planning and maintain
associated sizing and capacity planning guidelines across SharePoint
projects

Knowledge:

. Sound understanding of SharePoint 2007 in design roles mandatory. Exposure
or training to SharePoint 2010 is an added advantage.

. Should have sound technical knowledge in SharePoint 2007 and .Net design
patterns and frameworks including a sound understanding of SharePoint object
model customization.

. Knowledge of infrastructure sizing, capacity planning principles and
guidelines of SharePoint and a good understanding of various farm
configurations.

. Sound understanding of packaging, build and release management processes
and solutions around SharePoint including solutions such as TFS, VSTS and
Powershell.

Experience:

. Full project lifecycle experience working with SharePoint based solutions
in architecture and design roles
. Experience in SharePoint 2007 in design roles mandatory. Exposure or
training to SharePoint 2010 is an added advantage

. Experience in architecture and design knowledge
. Experience of development roles on Microsoft technology based web
applications and web based solutions (.Net, SharePoint)

. Should have excellent communication skills and customer facing experience
. Should be capable of working with customer architecture team in defining
SharePoint based application architecture and design, and lead technical
discussions

. Prior experience working with globally dispersed customer and development
teams

Qualifications:

. A BS in engineering, computer science or equivalent. A master's degree in
computer science is a good to have but not a must.

. Any technical certifications from Microsoft on SharePoint 2007 or 2010 is
a plus.
