Key Responsibilities:
The leader of our HC Americas practice is one of our most senior business professionals, and has four central responsibilities.
First, they are responsible for intellectual leadership across content and compliance. Successful Practice Leaders maintain a sophisticated understanding of the business models, issues, and trends of the sector. They also maintain relationships with many of the most influential investors, business thinkers, consultants, and observers of the sector. Second, they are responsible for live meetings. Required Skills:
For this specific position, the following factors will strengthen an applicant's candidacy:
* 5-10 years of experience in one of the fields in the Practice Area (healthcare, life sciences, biomedical issues, etc.), plus significant ongoing curiosity about trends and personalities in the sector. Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5-8 years of Financial/Software Services industry background with financial market information systems preferred.
* Have front office and instrument types knowledge with equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, etc.
* Demonstrated ability to client face at a high level using a hands-on approach.
* Some Understanding of technologies such as, RDBMS, UNIX, Windows95/NT/2000, and PCs.
* Demonstrated ability to meet self-imposed deadlines and proactive account management skills, and a track record of balancing the demands of multiple client accounts.
