Primary SA for 9:00 to 6:00 PM M-F shift w/ some flexibility
7/24 (rotating shift) system administration of 2600+ growing Linux (CentOS/Red Hat) and 80+ shrinking Solaris server environment
Production support of 30+ application group trading systems
Build/Deploy servers based on standard build process
Setup & support Linux clusters for High Availability
Setup & support Oracle RAC clusters
Write complex Shell and Perl scripts
Benchmark server and storage systems
Testing & validation of various new hardware and software for the enterprise
Support FC/ iSCSI SANs (NetApp & Equallogic) using Veritas and LVM
Support firm-wide Legato backup systems
Administration of SNMP based monitoring system

Qualifications:
· 5 plus years of experience with Linux operating systems
· 4 year degree or equivalent experience
· Must have excellent communication skills and be customer focused
· Strong troubleshooting skills in a high pressure environment working with network, security and development teams
· Strong understanding of IP protocol, multicast and other network concepts
· Strong understanding of DNS/DHCP/TFTP
· Strong understanding of enterprise level Linux security & implementation
· Experience in server performance tuning (kernel, memory, network)
· Experience in low latency/high performance environment in a financial setting or equivalent
· Experience with analyzing server core dumps
· Experience with client/server services like NIS, NFS, X …
· Experience supporting, configuration and troubleshooting applications using middleware messaging such as TIBCO/RV
· Experience troubleshooting Java server applications
· Experience with large storage systems like NetApp, EMC, HP …
· Shell and Perl scripting and/or C or C++
· Understanding of storage principles in high performance environment (RAID, file systems, etc)
· Knowledge of Oracle, Sybase and MySQL performance tuning principles

Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) guest speaker this Thursday Jan 12,
is Liz Meyer. Liz will present: "Professional Soul Searching - how to
discover your career passions, define yourself as an asset to your industry,
and leverage your network to land the job that you deserve."

NFP is where people meet to expand their network connections, as well as
learn the tools needed to advance their careers. Business professionals from
all industries and career levels are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.

Lookin for candidates that have more of the legal background." Key player in ensuring data governance for Pharmaceutical's Agreement Management System, a central repository of executed agreements. There are several entry points for agreement data as well as the processes that guide the users through these entry points. This position will play a key role in ensuring that contracts and data imported from other systems, as well as newly executed contracts are placed into AMS with metadata that aligns with the legal content in the physical contract and the Agreement Management Center best practices. • Evaluation and partial entry of agreement metadata and contracts from other systems into AMS. • Participation in the data management program which has a goal of ensuring decision-level data in AMS. This involves reviewing quality reports, data analysis as well as working with the AMS user to resolve issues as needed. • Reading and interpreting
contracts that are sent to the Agreement Management Center and performing the quality check of the data entered by the user into AMS prior to attaching the documents into the system. Client contact for communication of potential issues and determining a resolution issues related to the agreement metadata entered or to the process used to enter the data into the AMS. • Familiarity with various legal contract types needed, preferably in Pharmaceutical industry. • Certification as a paralegal a plus. • Experience with using web based systems that involve data entry, searching and reporting. • Experience working with legal contracts and an understanding of the legal language and templates used.

Title: Business Analyst - Seibel's pricing module

Location: Stamford, CT

Duration: 4 - 5 months

Our client is planning to implement the Pricing Module within Siebel CRM
system and they are looking to augment our internal technical team with a
full time Business Analyst. They are currently in the Design/Development
phase of the project. They have an internal BA working on the project but
are looking to transition to an external BA for the development, testing,
and implementation phases. Our client is currently on Siebel 8.1.1.

Pricing is currently maintained in a standalone system. The scope of this
project is to bring Pricing into Siebel CRM and make it easier for Sales to
select the correct product/price on opportunities.

With this project they are looking to;

. Implement Siebel Pricing Module

. Establish Pricing Rules

. Identify additional pricing or product attributes that may be
needed in order to map the products and prices

. Rational product list to make it easier for Sales to select the
appropriate product on an opportunity.

. Perform Pricing Administration within Siebel.
