| Position : Business Analyst Location : Montvale, NJ Duration : Full Time Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years experience in a role of Business Analyst, Application Designer or Information Architect. Strong analytic, strategic, conceptual, communication (oral and written), persuasion and presentation skills. Solid experience in client facing activities including requirements and design collaboration with internal and external customers. Strong experience in the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation, of enterprise solutions for Content Management, Business Process Management, Data Management, and Product Creation for products delivered via print, web, mobile, and ftp mechanisms. Hands-on experience building and testing complex business workflows and rules using enterprise BPM software (e.g. jBPM, Activity, ePower, K4) Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with enterprise Content Management or Data Management software (e.g. Alfresco, Documentum, MarkLogic, Liferay …) Well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills BS/BA degree in Computer Science or similar discipline or equivalent experience Knowledge of Relational and XML databases, including SQL queries, Xqueries, Logical and Physical E/R design (e.g. mySQL, Mark Logic, Erwin …) preferred Working knowledge of HTML and XML, preferred Experience with Healthcare and/or Publishing preferred Experience with FDA SPL XML would be a great plus Experience with Drug Databases would be a great plus Ability to quickly absorb and document complex business concepts, processes, and requirements, and then accurately represent them with iterative refinement via interactive meetings with business and technology stakeholders. Ability to assess and offer process and design solutions that will meet business requirements Willingness and ability to draw on best-practices, empirical knowledge, and ad-hoc evidence to identify risks with prevailing requirements & design, and then clearly explain the risks and potential downstream impacts and ramifications Detail oriented, methodical, meticulous, process-oriented while open to change and motivated by innovation. Excellent collaborator and communicator — both verbal and written skills are extremely important.
