Job Description A major Broker-Dealer located Downtown in New York City is looking for a Video Conference Engineer – Server Side.
Job Responsibilities:
The position requires hands-on expertise in collaboration technology engineering with an emphasis on IP Video Conferencing and Telepresence.
Highly proficient in the design, configuration and operation of Video Conferencing hardware and software and (Cisco And Tandberg preferred).
Assist with the design for network infrastructure and services in relevant area (IP Video Conferencing) in accordance With established client's IT standards.
Deploy/upgrade Video conferencing infrastructure components, including MCUs, Gateways and Gatekeepers, call routing And control devices.
Assist in developing implementation requirements.
Participate in the development of engineering and deployment plans.
Skills Required Must have some understanding of IP and ISDN networks.
Must have some understanding of videoconferencing standards including (but not limited to ) H.261, H.263, H.264, G.711, G.722, G.728, H.242, H.243, H.248, H.450 and H.239.
Must have experience troubleshooting videoconferencing connectivity issues.
