Job Description                 A major Broker-Dealer located in Jersey City is looking for a Asset and Liability/Liquidity Risk Manager.
 
                                       Duties and Responsibilities:
 
                                       Create formal policies and procedures to manage the Firm’s Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Liquidity
                                       Risk (LR).
                                     
                                       The development and implementation of a Funds Transfer policy to appropriately charge for Capital, including
                                       Premiums for Regulatory Capital and Liquidity Risk.
 
                                       Ability to stress test the balance sheet for various scenarios and develop contingency funding plans to ensure
                                       Appropriate liquidity at all times.
 
                                       Develop integrated funding limits in conjunction with risk limits so as to best deploy appropriate capital.
 
                                       Essential Experience and Skills Required:
 
                                       In depth experience developing an ALM methodology and reporting structure.
 
                                       A deep understanding of Liquidity risk analystics and modeling.
 
                                       Previous experience in deveoloping or revising a FTP, and the systemic implementation of that model is imperative.
 
                                       Previous experience in interfacing with both Regulatory Agencies and Rating Agencies is essential.
 
Skills Required                 Solid understanding of the balance sheet and asset/liability composition of a global broker/dealer.
 
                                       Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to be hands on and go from analysis to implementation.
 
                                       Ability to interface with Senior Management, Business Heads and support staff a must.
 
                                       Proven history of working with Technology to design, test and implement solutions to enhance straight through processing
                                       And controls.
 
                                       7-12 years of Treasury experience with a minimum of 3-5 in a senior ALM/LR position.
 
                                       College Degree with Masters preferred.
 
Salary Range                   This is a full time position for a Director which will pay up to 165k plus a bonus.
