Job Description               A major Broker-Dealer located Downtown in New York City is looking for a Video Conference Engineer – Server Side.
 
                                     Job Responsibilities:
 
                                     The position requires hands-on expertise in collaboration technology engineering with an emphasis on IP Video
                                     Conferencing and Telepresence.
 
                                     Highly proficient in the design, configuration and operation of Video Conferencing hardware and software and (Cisco
                                     And Tandberg preferred).
 
                                    Assist with the design for network infrastructure and services in relevant area (IP Video Conferencing) in accordance
                                    With established client's IT standards.
 
                                    Deploy/upgrade Video conferencing infrastructure components, including MCUs, Gateways and Gatekeepers, call routing
                                    And control devices.
 
                                    Assist in developing implementation requirements.
 
                                    Participate in the development of engineering and deployment plans.
 
Skills Required              Must have some understanding of IP and ISDN networks.
 
                                    Must have some understanding of videoconferencing standards including (but not limited to ) H.261, H.263, H.264, G.711,
                                    G.722, G.728, H.242, H.243, H.248, H.450 and H.239.
 
                                    Must have experience troubleshooting videoconferencing connectivity issues.
 
                                    Windows 2003/2008 Server

The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce's IT committee is offering a series in Social Media communications and marketing. Social media is not a fad, it is pro-business, but you must be savvy about how to use it. Learn about Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and blogging. Below is a description of the events that will take place over the course of the next five weeks. In today's economy, marketing dollars are not easy to come by, so the IT Committee has developed these sessions to help foster our local economy.

April 6, 2010
The first session will start with the fundamentals - an overview of social media tools and how businesses can benefit from using them. Join Rich Kleban from D'Arcangelo & Co. as he provides a thorough overview of Social Media 101, including different social media tools, their uses, and their benefits to businesses. Rich will discuss advantages and disadvantages of using social media in the professional world. Tips to get started and the importance of maintaining an online presence will also be discussed.

Overview
The candidate will assess, data enter, and compose a case narrative for
adverse event cases to meet departmental and regulatory compliance
requirements.
Responsibilities:
. Assess, process, and data enter all adverse event case types to
meet departmental and regulatory compliance requirements
. Identify adverse events, seriousness, and listedness / labeledness
for case assessment; review additional incoming information to determine
reportability
. Identify potential product complaints
. Perform medical coding using MedDRA and WHO-Drug dictionaries
. Compose case narratives
. Determine follow-up requirements and recommend follow-up type
(phone call, letter, etc.); formulate and generate queries
. Work on highest priority or assigned cases using Visual Workflow
Management System
. Perform self QC of cases

Qualifications:
. RN, BSN, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, Physician Assistant or
related degree required, or Associates degree in a relevant field with
commensurate Drug Safety experience
. 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical company or
clinical environment required
. Drug Safety experience or exposure / adverse event call center
experience preferred
. Data entry and Windows XP/Vista skills
. Proficiency with MS Office 2007 applications
. Basic understanding of FDA and international regulations
. Working knowledge of scientific terms and medical terminology
. Working knowledge of MedDRA
. Understanding of documentation requirements in a regulated
environment
