QA Manager - (US-NC-Charlotte)

Compensation: $140K - $175K / Year
Minimum Education: Bachelors

MUST HAVE ONSITE-OFFSHORE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

This position will provide executive management and oversight to a global QA team that supports multiple LOB's. The candidate is responsible for ensuring exceptional quality in the delivery of testing services by a 3rd party vendor, implementing target processes and tools, and managing the governance and executive oversight to the business technology team. This includes issue escalation; conflict resolution; metric and defect management and reporting; vendor management, staffing, and process design, Scope for this role is Quality Assurance throughout the SDLC, not just traditional testing services, requiring effective influence across reporting lines. Propose solutions and innovative plans on process redesign, tools, measurement and control. Directly manages at least one experienced manager and greater than 50 vendor resources. Exceptional communication, both verbal and in written presentation, is a must.

In addition to direct team leadership, the role will work with other QA managers to ensure overall organizational delivery, reporting, strategic and financial planning, and implementation. Special projects will be assigned.

Required Skills:
· 7-10 years of experience in a technology role
· Prior team management experience including offshore contract resources
· Understanding of testing methodologies and tools
· Ability to identify and support positive change
· Financial management
· Executive oversight and crisp, candid communication
· Process design and flawless execution
· Prior experience influencing across multiple levels & reporting lines
· Risk management and capital markets
· Change Management
