4. A satisfactory combination of education and experience equivalent to "1", "2" or "3" above. Preferred Skills:
10 + years of working experience with AIX, DOS, Windows, SQL, SAS, Power Builder (version 10 and HTML experience is a plus). Knowledge of mainframe back ends, AIX shell and Ruby scripting.
Stored procedure and shell script coding skills is a must
Project lead, business analysis, application architecture and database design experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience with the full development lifecycle
Extensive knowledge of Content manager development; SWING; Struts/Hibernate
Rational Application Developer V6 and V7; J2EE; EJB 2; JDK 1.4 & 1.5; SWING; Struts 2; JSP/Servlet; JDBC with DB2 UDB V 8.2. & V 9.5.

JVN: # 836-10-4592B: The primary function of this position will be to design and develop Business Objects universes and reports for various parts of the business based on business requirements. The Senior Reporting Analyst will be responsible for creation of requirements as well as educate and mentor them in the use of BOXI. Also, the person will be responsible to maintain the Data warehouse architecture and universes for the Department of Finance. Additionally, the analyst will be part of a team responsible for the Business Objects infrastructure (server installation, configuration and tuning) and administration and thus providing continuous and quality BI service to the Business. Will also be responsible for making architectural decisions about the Business Objects environment in order to optimize it and guarantee successful evolutions.

Responsibilities:
 
Implement new features, components, and services from specs employing Java-based technologies with little direct supervision.
* Participate in requirements analysis and development planning activities.
* Assist in resolving testing and production issues when they arise.
* Produce detailed and accurate documentation relating to assigned tasks when necessary.
* Promote highly-collaborative, team-oriented environment, working closely with all levels of product development staff and third-party development teams.
Qualifications:
* BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent), with strong competencies in object-oriented development, data structures, algorithms and software design and architecture.
* 3 â€" 10 years experience programming Core Java, JSP and J2EE technologies.
* Coding experience using Web-presentation technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript), SQL scripting, and Unix scripting.
* Solid grasp of software development lifecycle best-practices, methods, and conventions, including but not limited to Test Driven Development, Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Domain Driven Design, and Dependency Management.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Candidates must have a consistent track record of supporting projects with a duration of at least 1 year.
* Candidates must have experience supporting long term initiatives.
Preferred
* Experience in e-commerce application development.
* Experience working with or developing Open Source projects.
* Experience refactoring existing systems to design patterns.
* Experience with Oracle 10g or higher, Web Logic 10 or higher.
* Experience with MuleESB.
* Extensive (2+ years) experience using Spring and Spring MVC.

Title: Network Engineer

Location: Shelton, CT

Duration: 2 months

We are seeking a Network Engineer who will perform the following
responsibilities:

. Troubleshoot and resolve network and server communications
problems.

. Analyze and correct faults in network hardware or configuration.

. Manage vendor relationships, contracts and vendor negotiations.

. Analyze possible security breaches.

. Provides answers to clients by identifying problems; researching
answers; guiding client through corrective steps.

. Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

. Ensure network security access as well as protect against
unauthorized access through the implementation of security equipment, access
policy, monitoring and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

. At least 2 years of practical experience in Network
Infrastructure, WAN technologies, Network technologies, Security
technologies, policies and best practices and a good understanding of the
following:

. Networking-TCP/IP protocol, VLAN, Subnettings, Authentication,
Routers, Switches and Firewalls.

. Security/Mgmt-Knowledge of project management, project lifecycle
and current government security regulations.

. Windows Servers, MCSE preferred but not necessary.

. Security/Mgmt-Knowledge of project management, project lifecycle
and current government security regulations.
