Headquartered in Glastonbury, Connecticut, Aero-Med is a distributor of
disposable medical and dental supplies. We have five warehouse locations
across the country to meet customer delivery expectations. Those locations
are Connecticut, Florida, Texas, Illinois and California. Centralized
Customer Service and Management teams in Glastonbury enhance customer
satisfaction with one point of contact. Over 5000 line items are stocked.
Aero-Med supplies gloves, gauze, alcohol prep pads, antiseptic towelettes,
hospital packs and transport media among many other products. In an effort
to differentiate Aero-Med from the competition a minimum of 4 weeks
inventory is maintained to guarantee that all items are available
immediately. The following full-time position is currently available:

MEDICAL SUPPLY PURCHASING REPRESENTATIVE
SUMMARY: Coordinate activities related to the purchasing functions in the
Company; monitors inventory to ensure adequate levels are maintained to meet
customer demand; places orders and tracks receipt of inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.
1) Monitors reports to ensure stocking levels are adequate and to avoid back
order problems
2) Orders products several times a day to ensure an adequate amount of
inventory is on hand.
3) Develop Vendor relations with the reps to help with ease of business flow

4) Source new products by contacting vendors/new vendors and obtaining
pricing
5) Set up new vendors and products - completes application etc. Involves
initial contact, getting pricing information and setting up the vendor in
system, assigning code - obtaining acct number etc.
6) Performs other duties including receiving orders by entering into
inventory system, reporting shipping errors etc, tracking orders if items
not received, sales analysis as requested (running reports and comparing
data),
7) Oversees rebate contract files; reviews contract with vendors to ensure
current contract on file; enters information from contract into system;
deals with vendors to request current contract.
8) Co-ordinates or assists with other projects as assigned.

Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in business from four-year college; 2-3 years
related work experience in the medical/lab industry.

APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS MEDICAL SUPPLY PURCHASING
EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with co-workers, vendors and
customers; strong organization skills; attention to detail for monitoring
inventory levels; ability to meet deadlines; analytical skills to determine
amount to order; strong written and verbal communication skills; basic
computer skills; software used: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, the
Internet, ACCPAC.

· This individual will have responsibility for day-to-day management
of media relations and internal communications support for the Fixed Income
Department (FID), one of the Investment Bank's most important and profitable
business areas.

· FID encompasses sales, trading and research capabilities across a
range of product areas, including six core areas: Global Rates, Foreign
Exchange, Emerging Markets, Credit (includes Investment Grade and Leveraged
Finance) Commodities and Structured Products.

Job Description
 
The position will be responsible for performing a variety of business analysis tasks. The candidate will play a lead role on one or more strategic projects at the same time. Specific assignments will depend on the size and complexity of the project but will generally include:
 

Management of website integration for the Joint Venture
Experience with public and private facing websites
Project management experience including excellent presentation skills using PowerPoint and must be very comfortable presenting to a large group of senior people in the organization

The role requires credibility and confidence interacting with senior management
 
Skills Required  
 

Experience with /business analysis on website integrations projects
Experienced with financial services; preferably retail brokerage
Excellent written/oral communication skills and listening skills
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Visio, Project, PowerPoint
Ability to be a self starter and lead ad-hoc deliverables associated with the JV efforts
Key focus on execution and ability to multitask; work under tight deadlines while delivering a quality work product
Strong business judgment and communication

Responsibilities

Lead all efforts related to executive communications for the Enterprise and
Government Markets Organization (E&G). Responsible for developing messaging
and content that will be included in presentations to internal and external
customers, media releases and analyst briefings. Work directly with
Executive Leadership including the President of E&G, VP's of E&G Sales and
VP's of E&G Sales Operations to identify relevant content to each
presentation. Utilize extensive knowledge of B2B Sales, Operations and
wireless industry knowledge to provide strategic input to the leadership of
the E&G on content to be covered and how information will be presented. Lead
cross functional teams to coordinate and consolidate information from
various departmental leaders in support of these documents. Provide input,
analysis and recommendations to departmental leaders where needed.

1. Manage the creation of messaging and content for E&G communications to be
included in the presentations, speeches, media releases and analyst
briefings. Utilize management experience in B2B Sales and Operations to
command a broad knowledge of current E&G performance, wireless industry
trends, competitive positioning, internal initiatives and challenges.
Develop the strategic messaging architecture for all events and releases
based on this knowledge. Schedule and contribute to strategic planning
sessions and the development of programs that will be communicated through
executive presentations.

2. Lead cross functional teams of department heads including HQ Directors of
Sales Operations, Directors of Sales and VP's of Marketing and Marketing
Communications to coordinate, collect and synthesize information relevant to
E&G Executive communications. Work with multiple departments simultaneously
to generate statistics, graphs, bullets and other information as needed to
create slides needed for the presentation.

3. Provide strategic direction to department heads based on broad knowledge
of performance, initiatives, industry trends and challenges to match
available content and statistics to the presentation outline. Perform, as
needed, statistical analysis when creating reports or statistics for
presentations.

4. Manage the creation of the communication documents. Write, edit and
proofread slides, word documents, talk notes and speeches. Fact check
statistics, dates and other relevant data. Manage revisions through multiple
versions and modifications.

5. Manage the E&G executive communications schedule including preparing a
detailed background brief on each event (audience, format, time slot,
content and statistics). Engage event owners to specify the strategy behind
the event and the relevant content that will be presented by the E&G leader.
Negotiate, where necessary, with departmental heads on what content will be
covered by which leader and assure that E&G leadership is given the
appropriate time and content to cover. Create detailed project plans for
each event including planning sessions, cross functional team meetings,
reviews and rehearsals.

6. Manage additional projects as needed including statistical analysis,
market research and operational analysis.

• The development of executive presentations involves significant strategy
work that will impact operations including gross adds, disconnects, net adds
and revenue.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
• 5 years in Marketing or Communications role with responsibility for
presenting programs or initiatives to Executive Leadership.
• 5 years of experience in developing PowerPoint Presentations for events
and meetings.
• Exceptional PowerPoint, Excel and Visio skills needed. Excellent writing
skills including spelling, editing and vocabulary.
• Extensive experience developing initiatives, actions and programs based on
statistical analysis.
• 5 years working in a hectic, fast paced environment managing multiple
projects at once.
• 5 years of working in a collaborative environment with Executive
leadership.
• 5 years of experience in B2B Operations management.
• 3 years experience in a B2B sales role.
• Certifications: Certifications of training on PowerPoint, Excel, Visio,
Publisher and Adobe Illustrator a plus.
