Job Title: PL/SQL Developer
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Duration: Long Term Project

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate with and across project work tracks to evaluate business requirements
Design scalable, highly available code for a relational database platform to meet business requirements and integrate with the enterprise
Prepare architecture and design documents
Promote the adoption of best practices in development and testing standards across the enterprise
Participate in code reviews and promote efficient data access methods

REQUIREMENTS
6-10 years of PL/SQL development experience in large-scale OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) systems
Strong SQL tuning experience; ability to diagnose and remedy PL/SQL performance issues
Experience with database development tools such as TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer
Familiar with application development and deployment lifecycle and methodologies
Broad technical knowledge, leadership and organization skills, creativity, technical vision, and problem-solving skills
Familiar with n-tier application architecture
Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
Strong oral and written communication skills

PLUSES
Database management skills
Java/J2EE exposure
Experience with ETL design and development with Informatica Power Center 8.x or above
Financial services experience – specifically with asset management – a large plus
Unix experience; shell scripting skills
Experience with data warehouse and data mining
