Branford CT area

Impact Partners has been retained by a highly successful niche mid sized
Consumer Products Company to locate a hands-on Controller with solid
manufacturing and/or distribution background. Reporting to high-energy
General Manager, the successful candidate will provide leadership in the
accounting and finance functions which will include financial planning,
budgeting, forecasting, operational reporting, revenue management for
billing and accounts receivables, audits, along with general fiduciary
responsibilities for accounting operations. This is a fast paced
entrepreneurial, growth focused environment. As the key Financial leader in
this setting, you'll wear multiple hats. Key responsibilities include:

A) Oversight of all accounting and business operations which includes
information systems, human resources and facility operations.

B) Oversee General ledger functions (A/R, A/P, Credit & Collections, Cash
Flow, etc..). Assure accuracy, timeliness and conformity with professional
accounting standards and best practices.

C) Liaison to external auditing firms.

D) Prepare/Oversee regular and specialized financial reporting for General
manager related to program performance, business plans and strategic
opportunities.

E) Oversee manufacturing cost accounting.

F) Participate as member of Sr Corporate Team to improve overall Company
performance.

B.S. Degree Required (Accounting/Finance). CPA, CMA or MBA a plus. 10+ years
of experience including background MANAGING Finance/Accounting from small to
Mid size Manufacturing and/or distribution firm. Good systems exposure.
Strong oral & written communication skills essential as is high energy level
and "Can-Do" attitude

Title: Data Center Operations Engineer

Location: Norwalk, CT

Salary: $65K - $75K

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Engineer who
will work with the business to support the procurement, delivery and
maintenance of equipment to the data centers, support and close tickets
generated via the IT Helpdesk Remedy system, work with IT staff across the
company on production related matters and project work concerning corporate
and production data centers and the hardware installed there. The candidate
will be required to work within the Global Network team and interface with a
variety of teams around the world with differing technical expertise and
communication, fully understanding that the relationship is critical to the
success of the team. The role may, at times, require work outside of normal
business hours.

Required Skills and Experience

. Good knowledge of various operating systems and upgrading OS
images on hardware

. Experience in new hardware deployment as well as server hardware
install and upgrades

. Working knowledge of TCP/IP

. Good Windows domain infrastructures with User/Group/Share
privileges

. Good understanding of virus/work/Trojan
prevention/detection/cleaning

. Ability to work within a multi-location team

. Ability to travel as and when required worldwide

. Ability to communicate complex and technical matters clearly to
non-technical people

. Ability to build effective working relationships

. Good academic credentials - degree level

. Project lifecycle experience

. Solving difficult design issues, identifying technical solutions

. Ability to stream line processes

. Administrative skills (purchase orders, filing, organizing
paperwork, expense management, budgeting, asset management)

. Proactive, hands on approach, and a willingness to help with a
good understanding of high availability Data Center technologies and
services

Desirable:

* Good knowledge of ecommerce standards

* Prince2/ITIL

* ISO9001

* Network management skills

* Experience working in a Global organization
