Location: Jersey City, NJ
Position: Contract
Job Description
Responsible for the management of technical project(s) or program teams from initiation through implementation, includes: planning, analysis, design development and implementation. Provides overall direction for establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines. Allocates and coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects. Manages budget for assigned project(s), develops and monitors project/program plan(s), and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Aligns business unit, technical development and support organizations. Establishes program communication plan across the businesses, regions, support and technology groups. Prepares and presents progress reports for senior management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage IM Windows 7 migrationfor 11K assets.
- Responsible for managing all components of the project life cycle: scope definition and management, planning, estimating, analysis, development, testing, and implementation. Responsible for developing relationships with business owners, communicating project status and understanding detailed business requirements across multiple project initiatives.
- Produce and own the global deployment schedule for the line of business.
Experience/ Skills required
- Strong hands-on experience producing related documentation including: change controls, status reports, detailed schedules (MS Project), polished presentations (PowerPoint), risks lists, issues lists, action items and meeting minutes.
- At least 3-7 years of project management experience for technology projects including successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Prior experience in Windows migration projects/ managing network projects
- Repeated, demonstrated history of delivering technology projects through the entire lifecycle within on-time and on-budget.
- PMP Certificationis a huge plus
- Excellent communications skills a must
